Who can live at Sunrising?
Women aged 55 and older who can manage their daily routines, health and medications independently. Women veterans receive priority consideration. Contact us for current eligibility details.
Are meals included?
No. Residents have access to a full shared kitchen and dining area to prepare their own meals.
How does transportation work?
General transportation is not included. We help arrange VA transportation or third-party rides to medical appointments.
Can family and friends visit?
Yes, within the visitor policy. Rules covering visitors, smoking, alcohol and pets are provided in writing before you sign.
What safety provisions are in place?
Safety provisions include cameras, alarms, smoke and carbon-monoxide detectors, fire extinguishers, emergency lighting and first-aid supplies. Staff are background-checked and trained in CPR and first aid. Ask the team to walk you through the arrangements on your tour.
